O2 Internet ADSL is once again going to be considerably faster. Its basic speed is increasing by up to four times while the price remains the same. Customers can order new Internet speeds from September 1, 2008.
The basic speed of the O2 Internet ADSL service will be upgraded to 8 Mb/s, and a premium speed of 16 Mb/s will be a new part of the offer. The uploading speeds of this broadband Internet service will increase to 512 kb/s and 768 kb/s. In addition the entire portfolio of ADSL tariffs, as well as service bundles, will be arranged in a clearer manner.
The prices of existing service variants and bundles with speeds of 8 Mb/s are going to be reduced considerably: O2 Trio 8 Mb/s will be CZK 905 less, O2 Duo 8 Mb/s will be CZK 856 less. The price of O2 Internet ADSL on its own will drop by CZK 475.

New portfolio of advantageous service bundles
It is most advantageous to get high-speed O2 Internet ADSL in combination with other services. This is evident in customer interest in the O2 Trio, O2 Duo, and O2 Duo Mobil bundles. Nearly 80% of new customers choose one of these options.
O2 Trio
For one monthly fee, the O2 Trio service bundle offers customers up to 800 free minutes for calling from their phone at home, a high-speed Internet connection through O2 Internet ADSL, and O2 TV digital television. For the basic new variant with an 8 Mb/s connection and the Volám Basic 300 tariff, the customer pays only CZK 1,327 per month. For orders made before October 31, 2008, service activation will cost merely 1 crown, and a WiFi modem can be purchased for just 599 crowns.

O2 Duo ADSL
With the O2 Duo ADSL bundle, the customer gets high-speed O2 Internet ADSL and free calling from home for one monthly fee. The bundle is available in several variants, with speeds ranging of 8 Mb/s and 16 Mb/s. The basic variant with an 8 Mb/s connection and the Volám Basic 300 tariff is CZK 899 per month. Just like with O2 Trio, activation will cost just 1 crown and the customer pays CZK 599 for a WiFi modem when they order before the end of October 2008.

O2 Duo Mobil
The O2 Duo Mobil offers customers a lightning-fast O2 Internet ADSL connection and mobile calling for one monthly fee without any additional fixed-line fees. The bundle is available in a number of variants with speeds of 8 Mb/s and 16 Mb/s. The basic variant, which includes 8 Mb/s high-speed Internet and mobile calling with CZK 240 of free credit, amounts to CZK 951 per month.

Variants presented here already include the Mini voice tariff; customers also have the option of selecting packages with the Standard tariff.
Speed increase for current customers
From September 1, 2008, Customers with O2 ADSL on its own can also get higher speeds by switching to any of the O2 Trio, O2 Duo, or O2 Duo Mobil bundles. From the same day, customers with the O2 Duo and O2 Duo Mobil bundles can request a speed upgrade themselves (a technical inspection and modem examination is necessary). Customers with O2 TV digital television as part of the O2 Trio bundle, and whose lines are prepared on the technical side (correct modem, , high-quality line) will have their speed increased automatically from October 15, 2008. For other O2 Internet ADSL customers at locations where technical adjustments are required, speed will be increased automatically as of February 1, 2009.
