The fastest mobile internet and broadband data transfer speeds are now accessible to the residents of other regional towns. Telefónica O2 has expanded its state-of-the-art network, based on UMTS/HSDPA technology to Liberec, Karlovy Vary and Zlín. From September 15, 2009, all residents of these towns will be able to get the fastest mobile internet access with speeds of up to 3.6 Mbit/s for a very favorable price.

"New generation mobile networks now cover 12 out of 13 regional towns," says Jan Karas, Director for Segment Marketing, Telefónica O2, adding, "We are the only operator on the domestic market offering the fastest and most beneficial mobile internet connection, including the opportunity to freely choose mobile and fixed services."

Until October 30, the residents of Liberec, Karlovy Vary and Zlín can take advantage of a special offer for a mobile connection. Everyone who orders a new activation of O2 Mobile Internet on its own pays only CZK 600 with VAT per month. They will be online almost instantly. All they have to do is pull a USB modem the size of a common flash drive out of their pocket. With the signing of a 24-month contract they can get this modem for just 1 crown.

The most advantageous offer available to customers right now enables them to get O2 Mobile Internet in combination with the O2 Internet service for home. They thus get two internet connections for the price of one; both services are only CZK 750 with VAT per month. With the concurrent use of any O2 NEON tariff, they pay CZK 100 less.
