O2 TV customers now have the chance to enjoy movies, series, and documentaries from premium channel HBO absolutely free of charge. From February 15, they can use the HBO Digital service for free. This offer is valid for new and current customers who subscribe to HBO.

"We believe that this offer will please all film and series fans. Original HBO productions include Sex in the City, Six Feet Under, Band of Brothers, and the Golden Globe winning Citizen X. The HBO Digital offer is also updated regularly. Every month HBO Digital offers 100 shows, of which at least 30 are presented as premieres," says Aleš Veselý, Marketing Director for the Households Segment, Telefónica O2 Czech Republic.

In February, customers can look forward to popular films like The Simpsons Movie, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, or the third part of High School Musical. In March, a new batch of films awaits customers, including Twilight, the sequel to Madagascar, or the war drama Valkyrie, starring Tom Cruise. From Monday March 15, HBO will launch its world premiere of The Pacific - a series produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. Just a few days after that, the first part will also be available to O2 TV customers on HBO Digital.

Since February 15, the HBO Digital service has been available for free to all O2 TV customers who are HBO subscribers through the basic O2 TV Kino channel package as well as through the additional channel packages Kino plus and HBO+HBO2+HBO Comedy. Current customers who were already using HBO digital and have been paying CZK 150 per month for the service will start getting the service for free automatically as part of their packages.

The HBO Digital service gives viewers the opportunity to watch movies and shows on HBO at the times they choose. It also provides them with the same user convenience and functions as they get when watching movies on DVD - fast-forwarding, pausing, reversing, and an unlimited number of films to watch in any given month. Another benefit is the chance to watch movies either with high-quality Czech dubbing, or in their original languages.
